RGA completed interior improvements for this medical device manufacturer in 2010 in an existing shell building in Mira Loma, CA.  The facility was primarily a logistics point used by Medtronic to distribute reusable medical devices used during surgical operations.  Devices would be distributed for use in surgical procedures, then returned and sanitized through a series of steps that included autoclaves and manual checks, then stored for future use.  RGA's scope included design and coordination with a substantial MEP installation including two steam boilers with water treatment system, a chiller with buffer tanks and pumps, three autoclaves and other miscellaneous sanitation equipment, compressed air system, and supporting infrastructure for warehouse production lines.  The project also included some supporting office and an IT data room with FM 2000 fire suppression system.  RGA interfaced with multiple Owners consultants including the Getinge Group for sanitation equipment and Tompkins International for conveyors.  The project was built by Oltmans Construction.
